Crashes sometimes with VATSIM data
First of all - This doesn't seem to happen any more. I keep this here as reference, in case I add planned altitude or more information about aircraft. --Martin 23:03, 9 January 2008 (CET)
Hi Martin. I suggest to check the following fields:
- ATC callsign (field 0) - expect all kinds of strange codes, from KC_APP to THAMES_APP
- Pilot callsign (field 0) - Vatsim allows pilot callsigns up to 12 characters (vs 7 characters on ivao)
- Aircraft (field 9) has different formats, depending on client
- Planned altitude (field 12) and speed (field 10) is not checked by Vatsim clients if formatted correctly. Vatfolk might enter F270 as FL270, 270, 27000, FL27000, 270FL (this caused dlmn to crash)...

Sugestions
It is possible that for new versions, can see the observers?
Also interesting is that the window of details of people connected, we can see the VID, and specifically on the pilots, showing all the data FP
